NOVA Slim-Form 26 Series Air Cooled Straight-Neck Torch with 25 ft. 1 pc. Ultra-Flex Torch Cable

The Nova Slim-Form 26 series air-cooled torch is based on the standard 26 series torch available throughout the industry but is a “trimmed” down version resulting in slim lines and easier handling where space is a consideration.  The Slim Form version of the 26 series torch uses Nova 17, 26 and 18 type torch consumables as well as any standard 17, 26, or 18 series torch consumables from any other brand. This type torch was originally classified as a series "3" torch early on in its development by the original manufacturer of TIG torches to refer to a specific size.  Later down the line, the 26 series sprang from this type of torch and was standardized throughout the industry as a 200 Amp class air-cooled torch.  The main issue though is that to achieve the 200 amp barrier, the torch was made larger than the 17.  Now, thanks to better designs and improved materials, this slimmer, trimmed down version of the 26 features a straight neck  that is intended for the professional TIG welder and is good for walking the cup on pipe or other activities where longer duty cycles and maximum control is needed. When combined with the Ultra-Flex cables, this torch offers an excellent solution for professional welders who demand top level performance from their equipment.  The SF 26 provides higher amp handling capability than the 9 or 17 series torches but does not have a significantly bigger or longer barrel (handle).  Its head is slightly larger than the 17 and a bit larger than the 9 series.  However, when equipped with our Nova stubby kit or our Nova stubby gas lens kit, the Nova Slim Form 26 presents a profile size for jobs that demand maximum compactness without sacrificing duty cycle or amp capability.
