Description

The water-cooled, flexible Nova 18 series TIG torch is based on the Flex-necked 18 series TIG torch design that is standardized throughout the industry. The Nova 18 series torch uses Nova 17,26, or 18 series torch consumables as well as any similar series torch consumables from any other brand. Originally this series was classified as a series "3" torch which is a larger torch size than the smaller "2" series that includes the 9 and 20 series torches. This model of the Nova 18 water-cooled torch features a Flexible neck design with comfort and weld accessibility in mind. It allows for up to 30 degrees of flexibility in any direction. (Do not over flex or force head.) If you are purchasing a Nova 18 torch for the first time, keep in mind these torches use the larger profile consumables common to all 17, 26, and 18 series torches. The Nova 18 torch is capable of handling up to 350 Amps. This torch is intended for those customers that require a flexible neck for comfort and improved access. The 3-piece Ultra flex cables included in this package are silicone based and are sheathed in a protective, abrasion resistant covering. These special high heat silicone cables are sized to provide efficient water flow to effectively cool the torch head and the power cable. The "Ultra" flexible and light weight cable design feels so light and flexible that operator fatigue is greatly reduced. For customers requiring a smaller profile torch, consider the Nova 20 series 250 amp class water-cooled torch.

Note: A DINSE type connector or power adapter is not included with this torch/cable package. Be sure to select the correct connector (listed for sale above) for this torch when ordering.

This product is covered by the standard 1 year NOVA Blue Shield warranty. To the original owner, Nova Welding Industries (hereafter referred to as NWI) warrants this product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year after purchase. NWI, at its discretion, will replace or repair this product should any defect of material or workmanship arise. For a period of 30 days after purchase, NWI will cover associated shipping costs with replacement or repair. After a period of 30 days following purchase, the customer agrees to pay any shipping expenses incurred by the customer or by NWI arising from the resolution of this warranty. This warranty does not cover conditions or failures that occur from accidents, wear, overheating, modification, neglect or abuse. NWI will not be responsible for personal injury, time or property loss due to the use or improper use of this product. NWI will not be responsible for damage to this product or other products arising from use with non NWI products used in conjunction with or in addition to this product.
